Role: Meraki Network Engineers

Duration: 2 Months Contract

Location: Jacksonville FL (Onsite) This resource will be responsible for coordinating the remote site walkthroughs and the implementation/cutover activities for each of the 200 client sites in the next 2 months. We are expecting that as many as 40 cutovers will occur in a given week (20 each Tuesday and 20 each Thursday). This person will be the key point of contact to ensure that site customer representatives, remote Meraki Network Engineers, and onsite Network Implementation Engineers are coordinated and that all three sets of personnel are scheduled for these activities.The current resource plan calls for one Technical Coordinator; however, we may determine that a second resource is required to handle the anticipated workload.

Skills
  • Previous experience coordinating the implementation of onsite network equipment across a large number of sites in parallel (or equivalent experience)
  • Fundamental understanding of network technologies including firewalls, content filters, routing/switching, VLANs, and 802.11a/b/g/n/ac wireless.
  • Fundamental understanding of networking hardware components and requirements, including firewalls/switches, wireless access points, cabling, racks/patch panels and the tools required to install the same
  • Independently motivated with affinity to take on tasks without immediate direction
  • Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organization skills
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
